 The teen promising and highly talented Wicketkeeping Batsman Matthew Cross became a member of Aberdeenshire CC at the age of just 9. Since then he never looks back and had represented Scotland in U-19 World Cup while continuing his Engineering degree at Loughborough University. He represented Scotland as a vice-captain in the U-19 World Cup 2011.

two years later after his World Cup campaign, Matthew made his T20I debut for senior team against Kenya. A year after in 2014 he made his ODI debut against Canada followed by the ultimate selection in World Cup Qualifiers. He was part of Scotland’s victorious campaign in ICC T20 World Cup 2021 with back-to-back wins. Matthew was the part of team when they get victory over England in a high-scoring encounter.
