Sri Lanka’s Left-handed batsman Shehan Jayasuriya will not represent Sri Lanka anymore. He reportedly informs the Sri Lankan Cricket board that he will not be offering his service for any Domestic or International match because he was shifting to the United States of America (USA) along with his family.

He made his debut in 2015, Jayasiruya did not get many chances to play in the matches, despite that he Featured in 12 ODI and 18 T20I matches for Sri Lanka. He scored 195 runs in ODI matches and 241 in the T20I matches. He also picked up 3 wickets in each match format and he has not represented Sri Lanka in Test matches. The International Cricket Council confirmed his departure.

“Shehan Jayasuriya has informed Sri Lanka Cricket that he will no longer be available for domestic or international tournaments, as he is moving to the USA with his family. Jayasuriya has represented Sri Lanka in 12 ODIs and 18 T20Is,”
