Former World Cup-winning captain Younis Khan was born in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. On November 29, 1977. Younis started his domestic career in 1998 where he played for Peshawar. Younis made his debut against Sri Lanka on 13 February 2000. He was also part of Rajasthan Royals in the 1st season of Indian Premier League (IPL)
