A young aggressive batsman Malik Haider Ali born in Attock and came into the nation through a complete roadmap. His extraordinary performances in under-19 level compiled with PSL performances earned him an early call into the Pakistani team. He played u-19 cricket in Sri Lanka and South Africa and later lead Pakistani batting in the u-19 world cup in South Africa. In a youth ODI series against South Africa, Haider smashed 278 runs in 5 innings and got praises from a South African bowling coach who mentioned he’s a player of international class.
Due to his outclass performances, Peshawar Zalmi drafted Haider Ali in the emerging category in PSL 5 where he performed exceptionally well. He becomes the youngest player to score fifty in PSL and also becomes the first Pakistani player to score 50 on his T20I debut against England.
