Mohammed Siraj Full Biography
The young quickie Mohammed Siraj came into the limelight after his outstanding Ranji trophy 2016-17 season where he took 41 and he was the highest wicket-taker for his team. Came from a poor family, Siraj’s father was the auto-rickshaw driver but he always wanted him to be successful.
After his successful Ranji season, he was immediately picked by home team Hyderabad in IPL 2018 for 2.6 crores. After his ordinary run in IPL, he was released by Hyderabad and later picked up Kohli’s Royal ChallangerBanglore. Since then he’s the main player of the squad and he’s Kohli’s go-to death bowler. In the first leg of IPL 2021, he was the most economical bowler of RCB.
In the recent tour of Australia, due to the injury of some senior fast bowlers. Siraj included in the playing eleven and impressed everyone with his sharpness in swinging deliveries. In the fourth test match of the series, he took a five-wicket haul and led the young Indian bowling attack very well.
