Anas Edathodika Earlier Life –
Anas studied at EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty. He began to take up football as a serious activity in the 10th grade when he joined the Malappuram U14s. While performing football matches, Anas also worked as an auto-driver who would drive people across the city for Rs.180 a day. After then, he joined the football team of N.S.S. College, Manjeri, well-groomed his skills under Dr. P.M. Sudhir Kumar. Ultimately, he was spotted by former India international Feroz Sherif while performing in an intercollegiate match. Sherif recommended Anas to attend the I-League 2nd Division side Mumbai trials, which Edathodika did. Anas passed the tests and joined with the club’s agreement of a one-year deal.
After completing one season with Mumbai, Anas led the club to promote the I-League. After supporting the club gain promotion, he was re-joined a 3-year deal. While at Mumbai, He credited his former head coach Dave Booth for making him the defender.

Anas Edathodika Career –
Anas Edathodika has been a late bloomer when performing for the national side. In 2016, He made his national debut when he was 29 years old, in a game where India beat Cambodia with a close margin of 3-2.
Although, he has performed nine games for the national team and has become a constant figure in the Indian side at the end of 2017.
Anas became one of the most talented center-backs in the country because they led the Mumbai side to a promotion to the top tier of the i-league. For 2-years, he then transferred to their archrivals in the i-league, Pune F.C.
After then, he had the best season in his footballing career till then, in which he began in all 26 matches for Pune in the I-League, helping the team defense concede only 26 goals that season. He was awarded the Pune Football Club performing of The Year award for 2012–13.
