    The Pretoria-born right-hand wicketkeeper-batsman named Heinrich Klaasen emerged during 2017-18 as the aggressive wk-batsman who loves to smoke bowler for fun. He came into professional cricket ten years ago in 2012 but struggled initially to make his impact. However, came into the limelight in 2018 when he made his International debut. His team coach even once compared him with Great MS Dhoni in captaincy and quoted, “Heinrich stays very calm in the situation. He stays in the moment. There’s very much a ‘poor man’s MS Dhoni’”

    Klaasen made his Test ODI and T20I debut against the same side. He made his ODI and T20I against visiting side India in 2018. Later the next year, he made his Test debut in 2019 against India at Ranchi. He started his career with some aggressive and match-winning knocks but later disappeared suddenly. He had a prime run with the bat in 2018 against India during the home series. He was bought by IPL franchise RCB  for the 2019 season but was unable to play any impactful inning.
