Asad Shafiq Full Biography

Technically sound young man Asad Shafiq added into in National Team after spot-fixing Scandal. Though his brilliant performances in domestic cricket where he scores 379 runs with a healthy average of 54 were enough for him to make it to the National side. During the early days, he was regarded as the future star in Pakistan cricket but his batting performances in the shorter format of the game faded away. But he cemented his place in the Test side after smashing 61 on debut.

The rise of Asad Shafiq came in 2013 where he scores 111 playing at no.6 against the likes of Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander and Morne Morkel in South Africa at Cape Town.
