Asitha Fernando Career
Before his test selection, he was a leading pace bowler in the U-19 World Cup for Sri Lanka. Later he played for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club in SLC Twenty20 Tournament 2017-18. He was also the leading wicket-taker for Dambulla in the tournament, with six wickets in three matches in 2018. Besides such a good early cricket career, he got the opportunity of international cricket quite late in 2021. on 3 January 2021, He made his Test debut for Sri Lanka, against South Africa.
