    The 5’9″ South African-born left-hand explosive batsman named Colin Ingram is known for his fearless approach with the bat. Ingram came to the domestic circuit through proper channel after scoring heavily but was still unable to get a spot in  Eastern Province originally on the other hand,, County Championship helped him to improve his game to the next level. He made his First-Class debut way back in 2004 but had waited 6 long years to finally get national call.

    Ingram made his ODI debut in 2010against neighbours Zimbabwe and ended up scoring a century in his debut match. He also made his T20I debut against Zimbabwe during that tour. After being so long with the team, Ingram unable to made impact and hence he got dropped from the side. He was also the part of South African squad which losses the semi final in ICC Champions Trophy 2013 which held in England. He also played for several franchises like IPL, PSL, BBL, CPL and other cricketing leagues.
