He is right handed batsman and Right-arm medium pacer. Dasun Shanaka was born in September 09, 1991 at Negombo, Sri Lanka and completed his education from St. Peters College – Negombo, Maristella College.
Dasun Shanka is currently captain of Sri Lankan cricket team in ODI and T20I format. With his ability of destructive batting and bowling, Shanaka is one of the best all-rounder of his team and always contribute whenever it’s needed. He made his international debut against Pakistan in T20I in 2015. He married her love of his life Chevanthi in the year of 2020.
