Dean Elgar Full Biography

The 5’8″ south African born left-hand batsman which great captaincy traits named Dean Elgar is the backbone of the South African side after the retirements of Ab de Villiers and de Kock. He is carrying young south African side on his shoulders just like former south african captain Graeme smith. His batting stance resembles with Graeme smith and also his great temprament and style of play. He made his First Class debut way back in 2006 but he had to wait six long years to get maiden national call.

Elgar made his Test debut in 2012 against Australia in Australia and ODI debut against England in 2012. He was more focued toward red ball cricket and his ODI cutted short down to only 8 matches but he has been more toward test cricket. after the retirement of Faf du Plesis and de kock, he was appointed the captain of the side and till now he has been doing treffic job.
