The South African-born dependent batsman while batting down the order and slow left-arm spinner named George Linde has a vast majority of First Class experience before pitching in for the national colors. He started his career as a left-arm seam bowler at the age of 13 but later after the advice of his coach, he transformed himself into the spin bowler. Linde made his First-Class debut way back in 2012. He has 14 five-wicket hauls in First-Class cricket which speaks his volume of experience in domestic cricket. In 2020, Linde was awarded the four-day cricketer of the year at Cricket South Africa’s annual awards ceremony.
After terrific outings with the bat and the ball, Linde was finally able to find a spot on the national side.
