Hayley started playing cricket at the age of 7. At the age of 9 she played for the U-19 Barbados team and when she was 12, she played for Barbados senior team. Hayley is a professional athlete in Javelin throw. Hayley is the youngest West Indies player to score a century. In the 2016 T-20 World Cup against Australia women, she was declared as the man of the match. She was banned for 8 matches after an incident happened between her and a fellow Barbadian player during a training match. In November 2021, she was awarded with the ICC player of the month award. In June 2022, Hayley received the top all rounder award for T-20 Blaze and CG united women’s Super 50 Cup.
