    Growing up watching his cricketing idols Chris henry Gayle and HashimAmla in his teenage days, Hazrat Ullah Zazai came into the national side after his splendid form with the bat in Afghanistan Premier League (APL) season 2018. Hazrat scores 44 balls hundred in APL and hit 6 sixes in one over against a team where his cricketing idol Chris Gayle was playing for.

    He made his international debut for the Afghanistan cricket team back in  2016 but HazratullahZazai announced his arrival in  February 2019, when he scored the highest individual score by any of the Afghan players in a T20I, with an unbeaten 162 runs off 62 balls against Ireland in Dehradun, India. His fiery knock includes 16 monster sixes but fell short of just 4 runs of breaking Aaron Finch’s record of highest T20I score. In October 2020, he was picked by the Galle Gladiators for the first edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) but he was not able to perform according to the expectations.
