Ishan Jayaratne is a former Sri Lankan U19 Player. He made his senior debut for the Colts Cricket Club in January 2009, in the Premier Limited Overs Tournament. Ishan also played for Sri Lanka U21 Team. And he won the silver medal. Later He made his first-class debut in February 2011. In March 2018, he was named in Dambulla’s squad for the 2017–18 Super Four Provincial Tournament. In June 2021, Jayaratne was named in Sri Lanka’s squad for their tour of England and In July 2021, he was named in Sri Lanka’s squad for their series against India. But still, he is waiting for his debut.
