The teen promising and highly talented Wicketkeeping Batsman Matthew Cross became a member of Aberdeenshire CC at the age of just 9. Since then he never looks back and had represented Scotland in U-19 World Cup while continuing his Engineering degree at Loughborough University. He represented Scotland as a vice-captain in the U-19 World Cup 2011.
two years later after his World Cup campaign, Matthew made his T20I debut for senior team against Kenya. A year after in 2014 he made his ODI debut against Canada followed by the ultimate selection in World Cup Qualifiers.
