Former Pakistani Captain and current head coach and chief selector Misbah ul Haq was born in Mianwali Punjab Pakistan on May 28, 1974, Misbah started his career in 1998 where he represented Sargodha. Misbah made his International debut in Test series against New Zealand on 8 March 2001.
Misbah ul Haq also played in the 1st season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he was part of Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB). Misbah has also played for Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League (PSL). On May 10th, 2017, Misbah announced his retirement from international cricket. he played his last international match vs West Indies.
