Mohammad Rizwan Full Biography
Born and raised in the city of flowers, Rizwan started representing the college team in his schooling days in 2006-7 while playing for Peshawar college. He made his first-class debut in December 2008. Rizwan made his ODI debut against Bangladesh right after ICC World Cup 2015. He scores fifty in his debut innings and announces his arrival in style when his team was struggling after an early collapse. Being in comparison with another wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfaraz Ahmad, Rizwan was kept in and out from the squad.
Since 2019 there is a complete turnaround in his career while replacing Sarfaraz Ahmad. His exceptional performances earn him a permanent spot in the Pakistani team across all three formats. He was awarded man of the series award against England and South Africa. After his failure in PSL for Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings, he returned with the bang for Multan Sultans replacing Shan Masood as the captain of the team. His form with the bat in T20I’s bagged him in a Top 10 ranking. He scores 104 in a home series against South Africa and was awarded the player of the series award. His brilliant performances with bath and being sharp behind the wickets making it difficult for Sarfaraz Ahmad to get more chances.
