During his career, Pradeep performed as a striker and represented his state, Kerala, at Under-17 and Under-21 levels. At the age of Seventeen, he signed for SBT and soon was changed into a midfielder. He represented India at several age-group levels, including the Under-20 squad that reached the quarterfinals of the 2002 AFC Under-20 Championships. He maintained to impress at SBT, support them win 4-Kerala League titles.

His beginning calls up to the senior team were during the 2005 SAFF Cup in Bangladesh, in which India succeeded. In 2006, Pradeep made his first huge step at the club level as he joined National League champions Mahindra United. There Pradeep developed versatile skills as he also performed as a fullback at times. The man from Kerala also skippered the India Under-20 side that achieved the last 8 of the 2006 AFC Challenge Cup.

He achieved the victory IFA Shield, reached the AFC Cup quarterfinals with Mahindra, and captured the eye of newly appointed India coach Bob Houghton. Originally, the English tactician used him as a left-back, but by the 2007 Nehru Cup, Pradeep was in the India team as a goal-securing midfielder. The man from Kerala secured India’s first goal in that match, but his highlight came in the final. In 2016, he operated as a performer scout for ISL side Kerala Blasters.

Naduparambil Pappachen Pradeep is a regular on the Indian National Team. He performed as an attacking midfielder and has often secured long scorching rangers. He has performed for India in the AFC Asia Cup 2007 qualifiers and achieved a goal against Yemen. Pradeep also represented India in the Vancouver Whitecaps Invitational in 2006, securing a goal there.
