Pathum Nissanka Career
Pathum Nissanka started his career at Isipathana College where he scored 205 on 190 bowls. Besides such a good early cricket career, he got the opportunity to make his List A debut for Hambantota District Club in 2017. In January 2019, he was named in Sri Lanka A’s squad for the first-class series against Ireland A and became the leading run-scorer.
Later he made his T20 International debut for Sri Lanka on 03 March 2021, against West Indies. He made his ODI debut for Sri Lanka on 10 March 2021, against the same team. On 21 March 2021, he played his first Test match against West Indies and scored 103 runs to become the fourth batsman for Sri Lanka to score a century on debut in Test cricket.
