Phil Salt Full Biography
The right-hand explosive top-order batsman with abilities to keep the wickets from behind the stumps named Phil Salt emerged into the sky in no time. During his teenage years, his family moved to Barbados and returned to the UK. Staying in Barbados, he had played his England’s fast bowler Jofra Archer. Salt made his FC debut for Sussex against visitors to Pakistan in 2016. since then, he’s been a regular part of Sussex and has led his team to numerous victories with his aggressive style of play.
Five years after his FC debut for Sussex, Salt made his ODI debut against visitors Pakistan in 2021. Later the next year, he made his T20I debut against West Indies during England’s 5-match T20I series, which eventually lost. It’s always difficult for a player like him to replace fellow players like Jonny Bairstow, Jos Buttler, and Sam Billings due to their excellence in all three formats. However, he has proved himself in T20, which is why he’s in demand nowadays. Till now, he has played in BBL, PSL, T10 and SLPL, etc.
