Renedy Singh began his football career by playing in Sekmai, Manipur, a famous football hub. At the age of 17 years, Renedy signed his first professional agreement with East Bengal in 1997 but had joined Mohun Bagan before.

He performed his early age career there before joining Mohun Bagan and was a part of the Tata Football Academy that has produced many techniques.

After two years of signing his professional agreement, Renedy made a call-up to the national team at 19 in 1998. He was a part of a young squad that consisted of abilities like Sunil Chettri and Baichung Bhutia.

His composure in midfield and his free-kick capabilities made him one of the hottest abilities in India.

Renedy has worked with the following teams – India, Tata FA Jamshedpur, East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, JCT FC, United Sikkim, Shillong Lajong, Kerala Blasters, and CSKA Sofia.

Renedy Singh Career –

Renedy Singh’s club career starts in East Bengal, where he performed his youth career for over 3-years before joining Mohun Bagan in 2000. Before committing for East Bengal, Renedy had played for a twelve-month at Mohun Bagan. He won the league and the Association Cup with them in his 2nd season in 2001-02. Remedy made 78 appearances for the club, secured seven goals in total.

In 2004/05, Renedy performed for Chirag United SC, which was then acknowledged as EverReady Association. Renedy made 44 appearances for them and secured just a single goal.

Renedy played for Punjabi club JCT FC and, From 2005 to 2008, was Sunil Chhetri’s teammate. He performed 31 games for the Punjabi heavyweights and secured one goal over 3-seasons. Ultimately in 2008, Renedy came back to East Bengal, where he would not play a crucial role, beginning fewer and fewer games owing to injury problems.

Renedy performed single seasons for Baichung Bhutia’s United Sikkim, Shillong Lajong and Kerala Blasters. He completed 29 appearances in 3-seasons and scored two goals for United Sikkim.

Renedy became the first-ever Indian player to get into the Bulgarian league In 2015. When he signed for heavyweights, CSKA Sofia was on loan from Kerala Blasters. However, he failed to make even a single appearance due to his injuries, and his career ended there.
