Richard Berrington Full Biography
Born in Pretoria later moved to Scotland, Berrington takes a start with age-level cricket. He represented Scotland at every level from U-13 to U-19 as a seam-bowling all-rounder. As an 18-year-old teen kid, he went to India as a part of the European Cricket Council Development team which toured India. Berrington made his ODI and T20I debut against Ireland and after that, he become a regular part of Scotland’s National side.
He was the first player from Associate Nation to score a century in T20I. He achieved this landmark against Bangladesh, he scores 100 of 56 balls and led his side to 34 runs victory. It was Scotland’s first victory over full-member teams. He scored his maiden ton against Ireland in 2014 in World Cup Qualifiers to ensure Scotland’s berth in ICC World Cup 2015.
