Saqib Mahmood Full Biography

The tall right-arm medium pacer who tries to bowl like Waqar Younus named Saqib Mahmood is especially known for his reverse-swing and yorkers, especially during the death-overs. His parents migrated to the UK before his birth he also usually visit Pakistan sometimes. Firstly he was introduced to professional cricket during the ICC U-19 world cup 2015. Later the next year he made his FC debut Lancashire in 2016.

Coming into senior-level cricketer, Saqib made his T20I debut against New Zealand in 2019, and later the next year he made ODI debut against South Africa in 2020. Saqib came into the limelight during the Pakistan tour of England in 2021 where he troubled No.1 ranked Babar Azam with his inswinging deliveries and got Babar out in 2 out of 3 times. His extraordinary performances were appreciated by speed star Shoaib Akhtar and other cricketing greats. apart from international cricket, Saqib plays franchise cricket across the world like Pakistan Super League (PSL). He also played the inaugural edition of The Hundred while representing Oval Invincible.
