Scott Boland Biography: The 6’2″ tall, Victoria-born Scott Boland Boland is one of the Indigenous Australians to be selected to play for Australia in all three formats. Boland made his first-class debut in 2011 but he had to wait 5 long years to represent Australia in white-ball cricket. The right-arm medium pacer mostly relies on sticky lines and lengths rather than pace. After three consecutive extra-ordinary seasons with the ball in Shield, he was picked up by selectors to face India in the home series in Australia. However, he was unable to according to the expectations of the selectors and get dropped.
In Ashes 2021-2022, Scott Boland was called for a Boxing Day test match against England. He gets his baggy green cap from Josh Hazelwood and ended up taking one wicket in the first Innings. In the second innings against England, he destroyed the English batting lineup within the span of four overs and ended up taking 6 wickets for just 7 runs in 4 over and bundled England for just 68 runs.
