- When he began training at the Prasad Cricket Academy in Hyderabad, India, which was 50-kilometers away from his residence, his father, Shaik Balisha, used to take him to the coaching every day on his vehicle, because of which he had to leave his job. After this, they moved back to Guntur.
- In an interview, he said that his family could not afford enough fees for the cricket academies in Guntur. After that, he got admission to the ACA’s residential cricket academy and even lived there. Coach J Krishna Rao trained him in the academy, impressed by Rasheed’s game.
