Varun Chakravarthy (born 29 August 1991) is an Indian cricketer who made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu. A mystery leg spinner who mainly came into the discussion in the player auction of IPL 2019 when Kings XI Punjab picked him at the price of 8.4 crores. He couldn’t do much for his franchise in the season as he played only one match because of his finger injury. In 2020, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders where he impressed everyone with his bowling variation and played a major role in his team. Varun took 17 wickets in the season at an average of 20.94.
