Afghanistan won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first, Batting first Bangladesh’s opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy scored 76 runs and Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 146 runs which put a good total of 382 runs on the board for the team.

Batting second Afghanistan’s whole team collapsed within 146 runs in the 1st Innings, Afsar Zazai score the max 36 runs for the team Nasir Jamal added 35 runs for the team.

In the second Innings Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 124 runs Momiinul Haque added 121 runs while Zakir Hasan scored 71 and Litton Das scored 66 runs for the team which put a massive total of 425 runs on the board for the Bangladesh team to defend. In Total Bangladesh put a score of 661 runs.
Chasing the huge target of 661 runs Bangladeshi ballers destroyed the top order of the Afghanistan team and restricted the whole team to 115 runs.
Taskin Ahmed took 4 wickets and Shoriful Islam took 3 wickets in the 2nd innings.
Earlier, in September 2019 Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh in their first-ever Test match by 224 runs in Bangladesh. Bangladesh avenged their defeat by crushing Afghanistan by 546 runs and creating history.
