David Warner and Will Puovski will be added to the squad for the 3rd Test against India. Australia has added both of the players for the upcoming match in the place of Australia’s Opener Joe Burns. He was dropped from the team due to his bad performance.
We know David Warner has been not played in any Test Match due to his groin injury which he picked during Australia vs India ODI matches. But recently he was seen training hard in the nets at MCG to set his return as the Opener for the upcoming match.
Australia might include both of the players in playing XI. Will Pucovski likely to make his debut in the next match. The younger was set to open the innings in the upcoming match he only played a single match during a practice against India A.
Warner and Will Pucovski combination is replacing Joe Burns and Matthew Wade, Who opened in the first 2 Test Innings. Joe Burns has been dropped for his bad performance he scored 8 runs in 51 balls in the first match and 0 runs in 4 balls in the 2nd test. Matthew wade has been retained having given a decent account of himself as a makeshift opener he was also retained from the playing XI.
