Shreyas Iyer has provided an update concerning his availability in the future 3-match ODI series against Australia. Even though the Mumbai batter didn’t explain whether he would play in the ODI series, but stated that he will bounce back powerfully.
Taking to Twitter, Iyer wrote:

For the unversed, the right-hander did not bat for Team India in the 4th Test after he objected to pain in his lower back.
Iyer’s back injury has lapsed after he skipped the primary Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the 3-match ODI series against New Zealand.
Although, he failed to deliver with the bat, securing 4, 12, 0 and 26 in his four innings of the Test series against Australia.
Team India is yet to name an alternate for Iyer ahead of the 3-match ODI series, which starts at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday, March 17.
