India defeated the Caribbeans in the third & final OD I with 200 runs at Brian Lara Cricket Academy, West Indies, Earlier in the match West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first, Batting first Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill gave a good start and made a partnership of 143 runs, Kishan scored 77 of 64 balls and Gill scored 85 of 92 balls, Sanju Samson and Hardick Pandya also scored their half-century which helped India put a good score of 351 runs on the board for West Indies to chase.
From West Indies Romario Shepherd took 2 wickets (10-73-2 ).
Batting second West Indies top order and middle order failed to perform and they lost their 8 wickets within 88 runs, Gudakesh Motie scored the highest runs for the Caribbean team, he scored 39 of 34 balls, and Alick scored 32 of 50. The whole team was bowled out for 151 runs.
Shardul Thakur took 4 wickets (6.3-37-4) while Mukesh Kumar destroyed the top and middle order of the Caribbean, he took 3 wickets (7-30-3), Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets and Jaydev Unadkat took 1 wicket for the team.
India won the series by 2-1, India will now play the 5-match T20I series against West Indies from 3rd August 2023.
