Earlier, India and Pakistan players got into a fight during the last minutes of the first half game in the SAFF Football championship match, The fight occurred after India manager Igor Stimac attempted to grab the football from a player Pakistani player, the players were seen pushing each other. The match officials had to intervene to control the situation and restart the game. Stimac was given a red card, while Pakistani manager Shahzad Anwar, was shown a yellow card.
