India batted first and posted a total of 116/7 in 20 overs, thanks to 46 from Smriti Mandhana and 42 from Jemimah Rodrigues. Sri Lanka got off to a good start in their chase, but they were eventually bowled out for 97/8 in 20 overs, thanks to some excellent bowling from the Indian bowlers, led by Titas Sadhu, who picked up 3/6.
