James Franklin is a former New Zealand cricketer who played all format of the game. His full name is James Edward Charles Franklin. He was born on 7 November 1980 in Wellington. Franklin started his international cricket career when he was 20 years old. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2001. In 2015, it was announced that Franklin had signed a two-year contract for Middlesex, it meant that he effectively retired from international cricket.
