IPL 2022 Mega Auction Live updates: BCCI confirms that IPL 2022 mega auction will be on February 12 and 13 in Bangalore. BCCI adds two new IPL teams for the upcoming IPL 2022, making ten teams involved in the IPL 2022 tournament.
An office statement BCCI confirmed that the move is to correct the pan-India balance of the league.
Keeping the current allocation of teams and business chances in mind, the BCCI has put up 6-cities- Lucknow (Central Zone), Guwahati, Ranchi, Cuttack (all East), Ahmedabad (West), and Dharamsala (North)- for sale.
BCCI Announced the IPL 2022 Mega Auction date
BCCI has decided to host the IPL 2022 mega auction, which will occur on February 12 and 13 in Bangalore, India. Especially, India will play the third ODI against West Indies at Kolkata on February 12.
BCCI decides to conduct the mega auction when finalizing that IPL 2022 will play with ten teams in total. The mega auction is much required to construct a strong core for the current teams.
