Sethi was expected to be named as the new chairman of the board but there have been reports of the return of Zaka Ashraf a former board chairman meant that there was competition for Sethi, but there has been no official news about Ashraf’s return.
Naham Sethi Tweeted:
“Salaam everyone! I don’t want to be a bone of contention between Asif Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif. Such instability and uncertainty is not good for PCB. Under the circumstances I am not a candidate for Chairmanship of PCB. Good luck to all stakeholders”.
