Ambati Rayudu Announces IPL Retirement
Chennai Super Kings batsman Ambati Rayudu has announced his retirement from the IPL on Sunday the latter confirmed that the IPL 2023 Final between CSK and GT would be his last game.
Ambati Rayudu Wrote on Twitter:
“2 great teams MI and CSK, 204 matches, 14 seasons, 11 playoffs, 8 finals, 5 trophies. Hopefully 6th tonight. It’s been quite a journey. I have decided that tonight’s final is going to be my last game in the IPL. I truly have enjoyed playing this great tournament. Thank you all. No U-turn,” Rayudu posted on Twitter.

Rayudu made his debut in IPL career with MI in 2010 he won in 2013. He won three titles with MI in 2013, 2015 and 2017 before moving to CSK in 2018, he won the title in the same year and in 2021 with CSK.
Rayudu has played 114 matches for MI in which he has scored 2416 runs including 14 fifties, while he has played 89 matches for CSK in which he scored 1913 runs which include 8 fifties and 1 century, all total Rayudu has scored 4,329 runs in 203 matches in the IPL, He has hit 22 fifties and a century in his IPL career.
Rayudu has scored 139 runs in 15 matches this season so far, Rayudu will play his final match on 29th May when CSK take on GT in the final of IPL 2023.
