Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis loaded the lengthy six in IPL 2023 during their IPL 2023 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the M Chinnaswany Stadium, Bengaluru on Monday, April 10.
The event took place in the 15th over of RCB’s innings. Du Plessis arrived on strike on the 3rd ball of the over and loaded a six over the cover region earlier following it with another huge hit that travelled 115 meters.
Ravi Bishnoi fell the ball short and Du Plessis was fast to get to his backfoot and cock the ball out of the stadium boundary. The big strike left non-striker Glenn Maxwell amazed along with the entire RCB dugout.
The former Proteas captain himself also glanced in shock with that hit. It is probably among the biggest sixes ever hit in the record of the IPL.
