Sharjeel Khan Biography: Sharjeel Khan was born on 14 August 1989 in Hyderabad Sindh. He represented Pakistan under 19 in 2005. Later Sharjeel Khan made his debut in first-class cricket in 2009. That season didn’t go well for him but later he started performing in domestic T20 tournaments and he got the call for the national team in 2013 for the ODI series vs Sri Lanka.
Srilanka series went great for him and due to his consistent performance in the shorter format, he earned his test cap vs Australia on 3 January 2017. Sharjeel played Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2016 and 2017 from Islamabad United’s and now he is representing Karachi kings in Pakistan Super League.

- In the 2017 edition of Pakistan Super League, Sharjeel Khan, along with teammate Khalid Latif was formally charged by the Pakistan Cricket Board for violating the anti-corruption code.
- Sharjeel Khan was banned for 5 years after being found guilty.
- Pakistani all-rounder Muhammad Hafeez has recently written a letter to PCB on the return of Sharjeel Khan in the International Cricket Team of Pakistan. He quoted “Shouldn’t we set Standards of Dignity & Higher than any other ‘Extra Talent’ to represent Pakistan,”
- PCB officials have responded on that latter PCB CEO Wasim Khan said that Hafeez should be focussing on his game rather than questioning the board.
