Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer took an 11-hour journey to Ahmedabad to attain the Indian cricket team ahead of the 5-T20Is against England. Both players Dhawan and Iyer were in Jaipur, playing for Delhi and Mumbai, accordingly, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy this year 2021.
Mumbai and Delhi secured the top 2nd level spots in the Elite Group D points table to develop to the following round. Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer will become unavailable for the knockouts as they will play for the Indian cricket team in the England T20Is at that time.
Shreyas Iyer shares a few stories on Instagram to inform fans about his journey with Shikhar Dhawan.

Before this week, Shardul Thakur took a road trip to connect again with the Mumbai cricket team in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 this year. Thakur was a part of the Indian Test team, but the BCCI clear him previously the pink-ball Test in Ahmedabad.
The cricketers have favoured taking long trips to avoid isolation. If they go via train or a flight to travel, they will have to isolate themselves and get back COVID negative to insert the other team’s bio-bubble.

Both Iyer and Dhawan posted a photo from their car trip. In his post’s headings, Dhawan said that he felt great to be back with the Indian cricket team later nearly three month period. Even Shreyas Iyer had been outside from the international field during Squad India’s Test series against Australia and England.
