Sri Lankan all-rounder Hasaranga has announced his retirement from International Test cricket on Tuesday 15th August 2023. He said the reason behind the move is to prolong his career as a limited-overs specialist. The 26-year-old made his test debut for Sri Lanka on 26th December 2020 against South Africa at Centurion.
Hasaranga has played 4 matches and has taken 4 wickets in 7 innings and scored 196 runs in 7 innings.
