The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is all set to host the 8th edition of the Women’s Asia Cup 2022, beginning on October 1, Saturday. A total of 7 teams will participate in this year’s event.
Bangladesh Women will join the tournament as defending champions after they defeated India Women in the past edition’s title-decider. India Women, Bangladesh Women, Malaysia Women, Pakistan Women, UAE Women, Thailand Women, and Sri Lanka Women are the 7 participating teams.
The 2 venues in Sylhet will host all the matches of the tournament. India Women achieved the trophy a record 6 times, with Bangladesh Women winning once. The final of the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 will arise on Saturday, October 15.
