Yuzvendra Chahal has shared pictures from his Haldi ceremony – a ritual that usually prefaced a marriage – In his sharing pic where he can be seen happy with his wife Dhanashree Verma and others. “It was all yellow with him,” Chahal also shared the caption of the post on Instagram.
Chahal and Dhanashree tied the group on Tuesday, December 22. The cricketer had also shared a captioned pic from the marriage ceremony on Tuesday.
30 years Chahal got engaged to Dhanashree in August this year and the two got married after Chahal returned from Australia, where he played in the limited-overs with his team leg of India’s 2020-21 tour.
If talk Dhanashree, who is a content creator, is quite active on social media and has shared his relation with Yuzvendra Chahal quite a few posts over the past few months.
Chahal’s India teammates Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, and Suresh Raina among others as well as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the team Chahal turned out for in the Indian Premium league IPL 2020, wished the cricketer on his marriage.
Become the best leg-spinner, Chahal made his international debut in 2016 in a One-day International against Zimbabwe and has played 54 ODIs and best 45 Twenty20 Internationals for India thus far.
Now he has record 92 wickets in ODIs and 59 in T20Is. In the IPL, he has been a mainstay for RCB as their best-given lead spin bowler.
He was named in the 14-man squad to tour Zimbabwe in 2016. Chahal was first signed up by Mumbai Indians in 2011. He appeared in only 1 IPL game across three-season and that was against Kolkata Knight Riders on 24 April.
