He has made good performance for the club which includes last minute goal against Arsenal on 19 October. In the same year in December he was named the 2002’s BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year. he made his first professional contract in 2003 making him the most expensive teenager player. He scored 15 goals for 67 appearances for the club.
In 2004, he madea transfer request and shifted from Everton to Manchester United FC and it was the highest fee paid to a 20 year old player.
