After a difficult start, he has emerged into a top-class keeper who has played an essential role in Worcestershire’s white-ball achievement with his ability to rise to the stumps to many of the side’s seamers.
In the previous time He has amazed his keeping off Saeed Ajmal‘s spin, who had a spell as abroad player at the club. Possibly only Ben Foakes, among current English keepers, is more highly considered.
Although Cox is not quite at the same level as the bat as Foakes, he is relieved a useful middle-order batsman.
He was the only star of the match in who play both the semi-final and the final of the T20 Blast when Worcestershire won the match in 2018 – he made a successful 46 in the final and finished the game off with a sixes and fours off Jofra Archer – and has successfully created four first-class centuries and further in List A cricket.
