Our favourite England captain Ben Stokes has given CSK fans immense happiness by announcing that he is on his way to India and becoming part of the IPL. He is set to become a part of Chennai Super Kings, and he says as he posted on Instagram that he is on his way to India to join MS Dhoni’s side on Thursday.
He was acquired by CSK for Rs 16.25 crores in the auction for the upcoming IPL Season of 2023. The matches will begin on March 31st, with the first match being between Gujarat Titans and CSK in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
He also tweeted, “see you soon @chennaiIPL”, making the fans more excited for the excellent game.
IND vs AUS, 3rd ODI highlights: Australia wins the series 2-1, becoming the No 1 ODI team
Australia defeated India by 21 runs in the third ODI 2-1 on Wednesday.
Australia made 269 runs against India after opting to bat first. Adam Zampa (4/45) started the match as Australia Bundled out INida for 248 runs in 49.1 overs.
Even though the top opening players of Australia failed to make significant, Mitchell Marsh scored 47 while Travis Head made 33 runs from 31 balls.
Sean Abbott (26) and Ashton Agar(17) played comparatively well, allowing Australia to get past 250 run mark before they were bowled out in 49 overs.
As for the India Team, Hardik Pandya (3/44) and Kuldeep Yadav(3/56) took three wickets each. At the same time, Axar Patel and Mohammed Siraj took 2.
Rohit Sharma (30), Subhman Gill(37), Virat Kohli(54), KL Rahul(32) and Hardik Pandya(40) all scored well but gave away their wicket at a crucial time.
