Former India captain Kapil Dev shared his views and praised Hardik Pandya and said he has so much ability and talent he should play more cricket for the country if he is fit. The Legendary captain doesn’t feel all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be playing too many Tests in the future.
“Doesn’t look like he (Hardik) will.”
“I saw his photograph on the billboard today. I don’t know whether they did any touch-up or not, but in that, he looked like having one of the finest bodies we have in the country. Yes, he should play more cricket because he has so much ability. If he is fit, he should play Test cricket also.
Earlier Kapil Dev disagreed with Ravi Shastri:
“I respect his [Shastri’s] statement, but why? Nobody has had more breakdowns than Dennis Lillee. So I don’t believe that. The human body can come back from any corner and come back into top condition. If you say Hardik Pandya – who is such a great athlete and looks so good – has to work hard on his body, he has to work hard. His body can’t take it?”
