After MI lost their match against GT in the 2nd Qualifiers and was knocked out of the League of IPL 2023, Rohit Sharma, Jaydev Unadkat, Yashashvi Jaiswal, and a couple of other players left for London on Sunday evening from Mumbai for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia from June 7-11 at Oval.
Rohit Sharma has begun his training ahead of the match. The skipper was spotted working hard and gearing up for the red ball championship in the nets recently.
The BCCI shared pictures on their social media handles, giving fans a glimpse of Rohit Sharma and other Indian player’s practice sessions.
The Indian squad was supposed to travel in 3 batches, Some of Team India’s players had already arrived in England after their team’s knockout of the league stage of the IPL 2023. Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Axar Patel, and a few other players are among them. Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Ajinkya Rahane and Shubman Gill who were involved in CSK vs GT IPL 2023 Final will Join the team on Wednesday in London.
