Ahead of the IPL2023 final which is to be held at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, BCCI’s mismanagement for the sale of final match tickets has led to a stampede outside the venue, where many fans were even hurt during the chaos.
Fans reported that there was no official announcement regarding the offline ticket sale, Despite the BCCI partnering with PayTm for online tickets, those who booked their tickets online had to show the QR code at the Box Office and collect the hard copy of the tickets which led to Chaos.
Numerous people gathered outside the venue to get their tickets, The situation turned hideous as there was no proper information and management for ticket sales. The Narendra Modi Stadium is the largest in the world, with a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators.
The Final Match of IPL season 2023 will be played on May 28.
